Sometimes an animal has medical needs that surpass our budget for basic care. This fund covers a range of specialized care including diagnostics, treatment programs, and surgeries.

NCAL’s policy is to spay or neuter every dog and cat who comes through our doors. This fund assures that we have the resources to fulfill this commitment.

Sponsoring an animal offers a unique opportunity for you to honor a loved one by providing nutrition, daily care, enrichment, and adoption services for a homeless animal.

Your gift to the Amelia scholarship fund allows us to offer scholarships to under-resourced families who wish to participate in our humane education programs.

Each year, there are cats and dogs who need the specialized attention and support that a foster home setting can provide.

The cost of shelter supplies annually is $25,000. In-kind donations of high need items, such as cat and dog food, helps to offset that cost.
