About Major
Major is a smart, social, and curious young dog! He is both energetic and playful and would do great in a home that matches his personality. Major spent some time in a foster home where he worked on house training and basic commands. He will respond very well to consistent training and will do great with an attentive owner that can provide both mental and physical exercise. He loves his rubber Kong toy and will settle down with a special treat and activity to do. Major does seem to have a prey drive and will be very interested in other animals outside for walks. We would not recommend him living with a cat in the home due to his reaction and intensity around cats and small animals. He does seem to enjoy other dogs and is very playful around them. He is a bit of a rough player and likes to jump and paw at the other dog, but he is quick to learn and really just a puppy at heart. If you are interested in providing a forever home for Major, please submit an adoption questionnaire below.
History with Dogs/Cats/Children
*Major has met other dogs and is playful and exuberant in their presence.
*We would recommend Major living in a home without cats.
*If you have another dog, our counselors would be happy to facilitate a “meet-&-greet” here at NCAL to get a sense of how they will get along & provide guidance.
*When introducing a new pet to your household, an adult should be supervising any interactions with a child or another pet.
