About Grady
Meet special boy Grady! Grady is a unique pup looking for a home with the right adopters. Grady came into NCAL’s care due to unfortunate circumstances that left his previous owners with no other option. He had lived his entire life with a family that he adored and his whole world has been turned upside down. Grady is a very loyal companion who sticks with his people. He tends to pick the people that he wants to be closest to and likes to keep his trust circle small. Grady can be untrustworthy with new people at first and he does not have a very social personality right away. He takes some time to let his guard down and decide that someone is safe. Once he does, Grady is a velcro dog and will shower you with affection. He is a very loving dog who enjoys climbing up in your lap for hugs and will rest his head right on your shoulder. He is so sweet it melts your heart! Grady has a quirky personality and can be a lot of fun especially when he gets the “zoomies”. Grady would do best with an adopter who understands that it may take some time to build their relationship and bond. This bond will be unbreakable and it will be worth the time and effort that an adopter puts in to the relationship with Grady. He’s an amazing dog that deserves the chance! If you are interested in providing a home for Grady, please submit an adoption questionnaire below.
History with Dogs/Cats/Children
Dogs: Grady previously lived with a dog and seemed to do well, but we have not seen him interact with a dog at NCAL
*If you have another dog, our counselors would be happy to facilitate a “meet-&-greet” here at NCAL to get a sense of how they will get along & provide guidance.
Cats: Unknown history with cats
Children: Grady would do best in a home without young children. He previously lived with small children and kept his distance and was uncomfortable at times with the noise and activity levels.
*When introducing a new pet to your household, an adult should be supervising any interactions with a child or another pet.
