George and Stella arrived at NCAL two years ago. They were bonded seniors who had lived in one home their entire lives. So understandably, they had a hard time adjusting at the shelter. When approached slowly and calmly, the pair were very receptive and even affectionate. However, due to their shy and quiet natures, the two were overlooked by visitors for many months. But the staff at NCAL always knew the right person would come along. Sure enough, in August 2018, the pair went to their forever home. Fast forward to a few days ago, this is the update we received from their mom:
“George and Stella stole my heart the day that I met them! I wasn’t ready to bring home two cats, but when I heard their story and that they needed to stay together, I was so touched. I knew they had to be mine and it was one of the best decisions I made. They truly are such special cats and I love them so much! (Alprazolam) They love their cat tree, especially the side with the hole so they can look down the hallway. It’s like they are security guards keeping an eye on our home at all times.”
